The Situation
For the first time since 2004, the Bengals unveiled their new uniforms in April of 2021.Our friends at the WHSE in Cincinnati contacted us to have artist TYP (@TYPCollection) help make a statement with the moment, and conceptualize the unveiling with a concrete jungle theme.
What We Did
TYP designed, fabricated, and installed a concrete throne for the players to sit in. In addition to the throne, he designed the surrounding jungle set for photo/video, as well as the walkway and lead up to the unveiling for the players.
The results
A captivating unveiling experience for the players and team personnel, some lasting content of the bengals stars, and an unexpected new fixture in Paycor stadium when the throne was moved there and permanently installed in the suite level after the shoot. They also replicated the throne and brought the concept into the teams on-field introductions for the seasons since.
